Formas projects granted

I am totally delighted to have had two projects successfully funded by the Swedish Research Council Formas! The first, a Mobility Grant for Early-Career Researchers, will fund a 4-year project where I will investigate whether impacts of emerging neuroactive contaminants on aquatic wildlife are mediated by brain size, with Prof. Tomas Brodin (Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences) and Prof. Niclas Kolm (Stockholm University). The second, a Research Project for Early-Career Researchers led by Dr Daniel Cerveny (Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences), will fund a 4-year project investigating interacting effects of multiple biologically active pharmaceutical contaminants (e.g. antibiotics, antidepressants, contraceptives) on behavioural and physiological endpoints in aquatic species. Exciting times ahead!
